Members of the perioperative handoff collaborative published a Meeting Report from the 1st APSF Stoelting Consensus Conference in Anesthesia & Analgesia. This report describes the Delphi methodology used to develop consensus on 59 recommendations for the conduct (n=21), measurement (n=5), education & training (n=10), implementation (n=14), research (n=6), and patient and family involvement (n=3) of perioperative handoffs.
